Accommodation & Area Details

Our Savuti (Savute) Camp is on the edges of Chobe National Park. This premier safari destination boasts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. Discover splendid scenery, untouched lands, and a high density of predatory species. In particular, there is an incredibly healthy population of lions (two prides with over thirty lions at last count). You’ll also witness massive herds of elephants at the local watering holes, healthy populations of wild dogs and hyenas, and a thriving bird life.

Embark on phenomenal game drives to find the best animal sightings, head to the outcrops of the Gubatsa Hills to look at rock paintings, or drive to the Baobab Gallery to see a collection of the curious and beautiful Baobab trees. This area is truly a paradise with plenty to explore and discover every day.

Savuti Wildlife

Savuti offers incredible wildlife sightings. In the dry regions, you can find herds of sable and roan antelope. Around the limited watering holes, find large concentrations of elephants and buffalo along with giraffes, kudu, zebras, wildebeest, and puku. Prides of lion, lone leopards, hyena clans, and packs of wild dogs follow the vast numbers of prey in the area. Every day offers an opportunity for thrilling interactions between jostling animals fighting for minimal water sources. The Savuti wilderness is both mysterious and unpredictable.
